In TechCast #117, Ken Rimple, Chariot’s Director of Training and Mentoring, talks to Drew DeCarme and Matt Gilbride. Drew and Matt are software engineers and consultants here at Chariot.
Together they reflect on the technologies and techniques they used to stand up a Docker-based web application on AWS. The project was organized using a Lerna-based monorepo to share code across multiple React front-ends and the Node Express backend. Part of the discussion involves how the team used React and Styled Components to handle re-usable, responsive design elements.
