IT professionals interested in learning more about how open source integration and messaging can benefit their organization should plan to attend the event, which features an expert-packed conference on May 24, 2011 in Arlington, Va. followed by two days of training on key integration and messaging projects from the Apache Software Foundation.

Some of the many notable highlights of CamelOne for attendees include:
• Keynote sessions featuring Insights from the Pioneers of Integration and Messaging: Gregor Hohpe, staff software engineer at Google and author of Enterprise Integration Patterns, will provide attendees with an inside view of the past, present and future of the discipline. David S. Linthicum, CTO and founder of Blue Mountain Labs and author of Enterprise Application Integration, will discuss new integration approaches in cloud computing environments. And James Stratchan, software fellow at FuseSource and a co-founder of Apache projects ActiveMQ, Camel and ServiceMix, will provide attendees with a snapshot of the future of Apache Camel and demonstrate new graphical tooling.
• Lessons from Enterprise Users of Open Source Integration and Messaging Solutions: Numerous sessions at CamelOne will provide attendees with opportunities to learn how enterprises use FuseSource solutions to increase the effectiveness of their IT operations and lower costs.
