Chariot Solutions to host fourth annual Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise Conference

Open Source Technology’s Impact on Enterprise IT Resource/Budget Allocation on Agenda

Details

Philadelphia, PA (February 5, 2009) – The 4th Annual Emerging Technologies for the Enterprise (ETE) Conference will be held March 26 and 27 at
the Philadelphia Marriott West. The conference, organized by Chariot Solutions, was conceived as a meeting ground for those at the forefront
of the development and implementation of business revolutionizing technologies. Held each year in Philadelphia, ETE has quickly established
itself as the premier event for the open source and emerging technologies community in the Northeast.

Given the current economic climate, effective utilization of resources and budgets are at the top on every business’s agenda. ETE 2009 is a
valuable opportunity for those who guide or implement their organization’s technology strategy to access the latest trends and tools that
enable leaner, more efficient IT. Bellwether advances, such as Cloud Computing and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) will be thoroughly
explored. The incisive commentary and active discussion expand upon the notion of what technology can accomplish in terms of increased
operational agility and reduced Total Cost of Ownership.

This year’s keynote speakers are Michael Tiemann, VP of Open Source Affairs at Red Hat and President of the Open Source Initiative and
Andy Hunt, co-founder of the Pragmatic Programmers. The roster of speakers includes experts and practitioners at the forefront of transforming
business through a constant push to get the maximum benefit from all technologies employed. Among the presenters are Mike Culver, Web Services
Evangelist at Amazon and James Ward, Technical Evangelist for Flex with Adobe. A special lunchtime keynote will feature Jascha Franklin-Hodge,
whose company – Blue State Digital – helped orchestrate President Obama’s online social network.

“ETE is an informational clearinghouse for emerging tech and open source. The collected experience and insight in one place makes ETE a can’t
miss event for companies looking to understand how technology can impact the bottom line and advance the corporation’s business objectives
through the skillful, intelligent use of innovative technology solutions.” according to Anthony Gold, VP & General Manager of Unisys Open
Source Business, and a past participant and presenter.

Bringing together IT executives, system architects, and software developers, ETE provides a holistic perspective of the application and
impact of emerging technologies. Keeping pace with its ever expanding subject matter, ETE has grown to feature over 40 presentations and panel
discussions. The roster of presenters includes enterprise technology engineers, industry analysts and corporate IT managers to provide a diverse,
in-depth insight on the latest tools and practices. Each year ETE attracts industry leaders in emerging technologies such as Java, Spring, JBoss, Ruby, and Apache.

“We’re very excited about the slate of presenters for this year’s event. The response from early registrants has been overwhelmingly positive,”
said Tracey Welson-Rossman, Director of Business Development for Chariot Solutions and the organizer of ETE, “Each year we’ve expanded the content
and attendance to keep up with demand. ETE 2009 will be our biggest and best event so far.”

Sponsors of ETE 2009 include Bluenog, The Judge Group, JBoss, SpringSource, Manning Publications, Kreischer Miller, Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance,
NPower, Open Source Alliance, Innovate Philadelphia, and Penn State Great Valley. For more information or to register for Emerging Technologies
