Innovators of Big Data, Mobile Software to Lead Conversations on Where that Technology is Heading
January 22, 2012 (Philadelphia, PA) – Chariot Solutions, a leading enterprise application and mobile development consulting firm, today announced the keynote speakers for the 8th Annual Emerging Technology for the Enterprise (ETE) conference, which will be held April 2 – 3, 2013, at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, PA. Rich Hickey, author of Clojure and designer of Datomic, and Claudia Perlich, Chief Scientist at media6degrees (m6d), will speak on developments in Java languages and marketing technology, respectively.
Rich Hickey is a software developer with over 20 years of experience in various domains. Rich has worked on scheduling systems, broadcast automation, audio analysis and fingerprinting, database design, yield management, exit poll systems, and machine listening, in a variety of languages.
Prior to joining Media6Degrees, Claudia Perlich spent five years working at the Data Analytics Research group at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, concentrating on research in data analytics and machine learning for complex real-world domains and applications. She has been published in over 30 scientific publications and holds multiple patents in the area of machine learning.
“We have sold out every year for the past five years, and with Rich and Claudia as our headliners, I’m sure tickets will go fast,” said Tracey Welson-Rossman, Philly ETE Co-chair, CMO at Chariot Solutions. “It’s important for us to bring together many of the leading experts in the industry in order to connect the IT community and collaborate on where we are headed. As the definition and role of IT in the enterprise changes, we all must dedicate time to understand and planning strategies that make sense technically and from a business perspective. We’re really excited to learn what issues will rise to the top this year and what projects will get the most attention.”
The ETE conference is the most diverse and interesting IT conference on the East Coast. Curated by developers for developers and IT executives, ETE brings together some of the best and brightest minds in programming languages, data science, integration, cloud and high scale infrastructure, mobile and other technologies.
The two-day conference will provide a dynamic forum for industry experts to provide up-to-the-minute insight on subjects as expansive and intricate as emerging technology and Open Source.
Pioneers across the spectrum will discuss the principles, practices, and products that are transforming ITs ability to drive the success of the enterprise. In practical application, the speakers and panelists at the conference represent the companies that are developing technologies that make some of the worlds leading enterprises run. Some notable experts in attendance will be:
