Employers invite candidates to conduct remote video interviews on the go.
Async Interview’s Pre-Recorded Video Interview product allows employers to invite candidates to conduct remote video interviews. A recruiter creates a set of questions (in text only or text/video formats), and then invites candidates to record video responses to these questions. Once completed, the entire video interview can be viewed by the recruiter and shared with others for evaluation. The sharing allows all people involved in the hiring process to hear and see the candidate without actually participating in a phone or face-to-face interview.
Until now, the ASync Interview product could only record video interviews using a computer webcam. The firm saw obvious advantages and value in making the product available to run on mobile devices such as iPhones and iTouches, so they engaged Chariot Solutions for this project.
In less than three weeks, one Chariot consultant was able to develop and deliver a native iPhone/iTouch app that displayed interview questions retrieved from ASync’s servers, recorded responses and uploaded the responses for consumption by interviewers. This new app eliminated the need for a desktop or laptop computer.
