Don Coleman, Chariot Solutions’ Director of Consulting Services to Present “Hands-On Bluetooth Low Energy” Workshop on Tuesday, June 23 from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m. PT.
June 15, 2015 (Philadelphia) – Chariot Solutions, a software development company, announced today that it will be presenting a Bluetooth low energy workshop at the upcoming O’Reilly Solid Conference. Don Coleman, director of consulting for Chariot Solutions and co-author of “Beginning NFC Near Field Communication with Arduino, Android, and PhoneGap,” will lead the workshop entitled “Hands-on Bluetooth Low Energy” on Tuesday, June 23, from 1:30 – 5 p.m. PT, which will give participants a chance to get hands-on experience building a Bluetooth smart device and an iPhone or Android application to control it. Scientist, author and journalist Alasdair Allan and professional software engineer Sandeep Mistry will be presenting with Coleman, and the event will take place in the Cowell Theatre of the Fort Mason Center, 2 Marina Blvd in San Francisco, CA.

Participants will be required to bring a laptop and are encouraged to bring a Bluetooth LE-capable iOS or Android phone. Familiarity with at least one programming language is helpful, but not required.
