Abstract

An anthology of QA horror stories, and how to avoid such situations with automated testing and Docker. When tests are built in from the beginning and not tacked on after features are released, fewer defects are created and development moves faster. JavaScript has all the tools required to cover your automated testing needs, and writing tests in the same language as your app is a no brainer. We’ll cover the tools available today and how to run your tests in Docker to produce consistent results across environments using a live demo featuring the Crypt Keeper himself.

About Jennifer Voss

Jenn is a Software Engineering Lead on the Precision Medicine team at Elsevier. Based in Philadelphia, she is responsible for building cutting edge products that reach millions of users. She is a Google Developer Expert in web technologies, and organizer of the annual LibertyJS conference and the PhillyJSDev meetup.
